Naans on the BBQ with skewers and tzatziki
Ingredients
for 6 naan sandwiches
- 250 g Mix for naan
- 140 ml water (room temperature)
- 15 ml olive oil
- When working your dough, always sprinkle flour over the work surface/rolling pin/dough.
for the tzatziki
- 250 g cream cheese or Greek yogurt
- 1 tsp mayonnaise
- ½ cucumber
- 1 clove garlic
- parsley
To finish
- skewers with meat, chicken or veggie balls
Preparation
make the naans
STEP 1
Add mix, water, and oil together and knead for 5 minutes by hand or in a food processor until you have a smooth dough.
STEP 2
Cover the dough with a tea towel. Leave to rise at room temperature for 60 minutes. Divide the dough into 6 balls. Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for 10 minutes.

STEP 3
Roll the balls of dough out into an oval shape (12 cm x 18 cm). Place an anti-stick pan over medium heat. Fry the naans for 1 minute on each side.
make the tzatziki
STEP 4
Grate the cucumber into coarse strips. Thinly slice the garlic. Mix the cucumber with the mayonnaise, cream cheese or yogurt. Then add the garlic, parsley, salt, and pepper.

STEP 5
Warm up the naans on the BBQ and grill the skewers.
STEP 6
Serve together with the tzatziki and some slices of cucumber.
