Pure Sprouts picnic burgers with pesto, tomatoes, and rocket
Ingredients
for 6 to 8 small sandwiches
- 500 g Mix for Pure Sprouts
- 310 ml water (room temperature)
- When working your dough, always sprinkle flour over the work surface/rolling pin/dough.
for the filling
- pesto, homemade or store-bought
- 2 balls of mozzarella
- 2 to 3 tomatoes
- rocket
- edible flowers
Preparation
make the rolls
STEP 1
Knead Mix and water for 20 minutes by hand or 10 minutes in a bread machine until you have a smooth dough.
STEP 2
Cover with a tea towel. Leave to rise at room temperature for 40 minutes.
STEP 3
Press flat and knead again for 1 to 2 minutes.
STEP 4
Make 6 to 8 balls.
STEP 5
Decorate the balls with edible flowers.
STEP 6
Cover and leave to rise at room temperature for 40 minutes until the dough has doubled in size.
STEP 7
Bake for 15 to 20 minutes in a preheated oven at 180°C. Allow to cool.

Spread the cooled buns with pesto and finish with a slice of mozzarella, tomato, and rocket.
