Soft Authentic Speculaas with almond flakes
Ingredients
For 14 soft speculaas biscuits
- 400 g Mix for Authentic Speculaas
- 120 g cold dairy butter
- 1 egg
- 30 g almond flakes
For the topping
- almond flakes
Preparation
STEP 1
Put the Mix in a bowl. Cut the butter into chunks and add them to the bowl. Finally, add the egg and the almond flakes.
STEP 2
Knead the mixture by hand until you get a firm and homogeneous dough. Wrap the dough in cling film and leave to rest in the fridge for 30 minutes.
STEP 3
Sprinkle the worktop with flour. Remove the dough from the fridge. Weigh pieces of 50 g and roll into cylinders 10 cm long.
STEP 4
Sprinkle with a few almond flakes and bake at 170°C for 16 minutes.
